Hall anchor, also known as mountain shaped anchor.

It is a rodless anchor with free rotation of the anchor claw and a certain inclination angle with the anchor shaft.

The anchor head and anchor claw are cast as a whole.

The anchor shaft passes through the anchor head and is locked with one anchor shaft pin and two anchor head transverse pins,

so that the anchor head and anchor claw can rotate 45 ° forward and backward with the anchor shaft pin as the axis.

When the anchor is lying flat and any side of the anchor claw contacts the bottom of the water, under the pull of the anchor chain,

the resistance generated by the friction between the anchor head flange and the subsoil forces the anchor claw to penetrate the subsoil and generate grip.

Its gripping force is about 2.5-4.0 times the weight of the anchor.

As the most commonly used anchor type, the Hall anchor has many advantages:

for example, simple operation, convenient storage of anchors, large grip, and strong weight to weight ratio.

Generally, the main choice for large or medium-sized ships is also the Schbeck anchor.
